Biography

Christopher Knight began his career at PNNL in 2013 when he joined the Risk and Decision Sciences group. His background is in computer science as a software developer. Since joining the lab he has worked on supporting groups from multiple directorates including the Energy and Environment Directorate, National Security Directorate, and the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory. Throughout his career he has had significant experience in field test validation and verification of technology being used across the country. Christopher’s role in this included data management, configuration, and custom automation for dataflow from many proprietary and commercial products including radiation detectors, sensors, gps, cameras, and weather stations. Along with this, he has worked on building dynamic software interfaces to meet sponsor needs, created web based software with both user and machine end points, and has worked on designing robust database structures.
